EthelWANDLESSIt is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing of Mrs. Ethel Wandless, who was born on December 8, 1923 in the North East of England and passed away on January 19, 2025 aged 101 Years Originally from Ashington and North Seaton area of Northumberland , Ethel moved to Stoke-on-Trent with George her late Husband who came to Stoke to continue his career in the colliery's
Ethel was the beloved wife of the late George Edward and a devoted mother to Sheila and Raymond also a second mother to Kevin and Ann.
She was also a cherished Nan to Matthew, Andrew, Sarah and Jemma. Great nan to Nathan, Harry, Ben, Isabelle and Albie.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Jump2 Independent Care and the Hanford District Nurses for their compassionate support and help they provided to Ethel.
A funeral service will be held at St. Bartholomew's Church, Blurton on Friday 28th February 2025 at 12 Noon.
